Beginner Pottery
CSP 7759
Learn how to design and make pottery using the potter’s wheel and various clay hand-building techniques. This course is designed for beginners who have little to no experience with clay that want to learn in an instructional and cooperative environment and is paced by various projects that focus on the different methods of making ceramic work. Students can expect to learn methods of making as well as the upkeep of a studio so that they can apply that knowledge to personal studio practices. Clay, glaze materials, and firings will be provided.
