Students taking Continuing Education courses may be eligible for a number of scholarships across a wide array of programs offered, including the following:

Train and Gain Scholarship

Train and Gain Scholarships, underwritten by the RCC Foundation, are open to students enrolling in specific workforce development classes that lead to industry-recognized credentials in computer technology, healthcare, construction trades, and professional skills:

Computer Technology

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Computer Programming, CompTIA Network +/Security+, CompTIA A+ IT Technician, Cybersecurity Analyst, Digital Marketing, Google Data Analytics, Google Project Management, Google UX (User Experience) Design

Healthcare

Cardiovascular (EKG) Technician, Central Sterile Processing, Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Bootcamp, Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist, Dialysis Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, EMT – Emergency Medical Technician, Medical Assisting, Nurse Aide, Paramedic, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy, Psychiatric Technician

Rockingham Health Care Foundation CNA Scholarship

Sponsorships

Organizations may sponsor students in a program at Rockingham Community College, paying for tuition and mandatory fees, books, and/or supplies. This practice is common for law enforcement agencies and fire departments, which sponsor the education of their future or current employees.
