Free Tuition for County Residents

Big news! Rockingham County residents can come to Rockingham Community College TUITION-FREE, thanks to the $1 million endowed Walter H. and Marilyn Moore Promise Scholarship! The scholarship is open to any Rockingham County resident in a high school Class of 2027 with a minimum 2.0 GPA, that enrolls for Fall 2027 full-time or part-time at RCC to pursue an associate degree, diploma, certificate, or short-term workforce credential.

Summer Camps for middle, high school students

Rockingham Community College will offer summer camps for students from rising seventh grade through high school. Math camps provide hands‑on learning for middle school students, while high school students can explore careers in Art, Welding, and Early Childhood Education, earning college credit through the free Career Launch camps. These camps help students build skills and get a head start on college and careers.
