Are you interested in learning a new skill, developing a hobby, or earning a certification? Rockingham Community College has several courses starting before the end of the year to get you started.

Develop computer skills essential for success in today’s technology-driven workplace with the Computer Basics course, which runs Fridays, Nov. 4-Dec. 2. Learn the basic functions of Microsoft Word and Excel, emailing, internet navigation, file organization, uploads/downloads, and resources for keyboarding skills

Notary Public classes are available on Saturday, Nov. 5 or Dec. 3. These 6-hour classes fill up fast, so register early.

If you’re interested in working in a mechanic’s garage, RCC offers two courses to increase your capabilities. OBD/IM Emissions Training is set for Nov. 7-8 or Dec. 5-6, and Vehicle Safety Inspection is set for Nov. 14-15 or Dec. 12-13.

Are you seeking an alternative to CPR classroom training or wishing to renew an existing American Heart Association? The eLearning CPR Skills Practice and Testing course offers a flexible training option. Appointments are available the weeks of Nov. 7-11 and Dec. 5-9.

CPR class will be offered on Friday morning, Nov. 11 or Dec. 9. If a Saturday is more convenient, there is one more class, slated for Nov. 19.

A First Aid class will also be held on Saturday, Nov. 19.

And just in time for the holidays, you can take the brand new Intro to Cutting Boards three-Saturday class on Nov. 19, Dec. 3, and Dec. 10.
