Oct 27, 2022Are you interested in learning a new skill, developing a hobby, or earning a certification? Rockingham Community College has several courses starting before the end of the year to get you started.
Develop computer skills essential for success in today’s technology-driven workplace with the Computer Basics course, which runs Fridays, Nov. 4-Dec. 2. Learn the basic functions of Microsoft Word and Excel, emailing, internet navigation, file organization, uploads/downloads, and resources for keyboarding skills
Notary Public classes are available on Saturday, Nov. 5 or Dec. 3. These 6-hour classes fill up fast, so register early.If you’re interested in working in a mechanic’s garage, RCC offers two courses to increase your capabilities. OBD/IM Emissions Training is set for Nov. 7-8 or Dec. 5-6, and Vehicle Safety Inspection is set for Nov. 14-15 or Dec. 12-13.
Are you seeking an alternative to CPR classroom training or wishing to renew an existing American Heart Association? The eLearning CPR Skills Practice and Testing course offers a flexible training option. Appointments are available the weeks of Nov. 7-11 and Dec. 5-9.
CPR class will be offered on Friday morning, Nov. 11 or Dec. 9. If a Saturday is more convenient, there is one more class, slated for Nov. 19.A First Aid class will also be held on Saturday, Nov. 19.
And just in time for the holidays, you can take the brand new Intro to Cutting Boards three-Saturday class on Nov. 19, Dec. 3, and Dec. 10.
