Masks optional starting March 7
Mar 3, 2022With the number of COVID-19 cases declining in Rockingham County and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issuing new guidelines regarding masking, Rockingham Community College is lifting its mask requirement.
Effective Monday, March 7, masks are optional on campus, except as required by specific programs due to other regulations from governing bodies or employers.
The College asks that all individuals respect each person’s decision to wear or not wear a mask. Individuals will not be asked questions regarding their choice of whether to wear a mask.
RCC will continue to follow its published procedures in cases where individuals have potentially been exposed to COVID-19 or have tested positive.
It is important to social distance and wash hands frequently. Please continue to monitor yourself for symptoms, and do not come to campus if you are feeling sick.
