Rockingham Community College will hold a campus beautification day on Monday, Sept. 23 (rain date Sept. 24).

The event resumes a tradition when, for several years running, faculty, staff, and students worked in teams for a few hours one day with Maintenance staff on landscaping projects.

This year, our focus will be on picking up trash, tree limbs, and other debris to get the campus grounds ready for the grand opening of the Center for Workforce Development and the renovated Industrial Technologies II building, scheduled on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m.

Work will start at 10 a.m., and we will wrap up at 4 p.m.  Anyone who would like to participate for one or more hours, email gunnt@rockinghamcc.edu to specify what time you would like to work.

Feel free to bring rakes and gloves.
