Level 2 Kayaking Lakes and Water Safety for Women

If you have not taken Level 1, we strongly recommend you take Intro. and/or Level 1 before taking this class. In this class, we expand on everything mentioned in Intro. and Level 1 plus continue refinement of strokes and maneuvers, steering, adding new maneuvers such as bracing and work on stamina, distance, safety and deep water re-entry techniques, comfort falling out of boat and re—entry and practicing wet exits if desired. You can participate or just watch the capsize and re-entry portion of the class. Learning how to get back in, in deep water is an important skill to know about and practice. Classes will take place at local lake. Location will be emailed to participants once registered and paid
