Land and Garden Preparation
AGR 7006
This class focuses on preparing landscapes, greenhouses, and gardens for the growing season. Students will explore soil health, turf management, water quality, fertilization practices, and nutrient management. The course also covers garden bed preparation and construction, along with effective planning strategies for successful garden development. Additionally, students will be introduced to key concepts in agronomy, entomology, plant pathology, and horticulture. This course is instructor-led and delivered on campus in the Horticulture Building. Prepayment of tuition is required.
