Industrial Safety: OSHA-10 for General Industry

This course is designed to give the student an introduction to safety and environmental regulations. Course content includes an overview of safety, health, and environmental considerations including material/chemical handling, equipment, emergency procedures, EPA regulations, air permits, waste handling and reduction, and labeling.
OHSA training provides the necessary safety education for General Industry employees and leadership. OHSA 10 is geared toward entry-level employees, safety committee members, or individuals seeking a safety certification prior to employment. Course cost includes $70 for registration and $10 for the training card.

Participants will sit for the OSHA 10 certification exam. Once participants have completed the course and received the training card from the Department of Labor Outreach Training Institute, the card is considered valid for life however, OSHA recommends renewal every 3 to 5 years. Replacement cards are $40.
