HRD Employability Lab

HRD 3002

This Human Resources Development lab acts as a one-stop-shop for job seekers. Instructors are trained to help individuals with job applications, job searches, resumes, cover letters and much more. Student works with instructor to schedule lab time that is convenient for both. Students also have the option to earn a nationally recognized Career Readiness Certificate that will help them stand out in a crowd of job applicants. Students may be eligible for a registration fee waiver if he/she: (1) is unemployed, (2) has received notification of a pending layoff, (3) is working and is eligible for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (FEITC), or (4) is working and earning wages at or below two hundred percent (200%) of the federal poverty guidelines.
