First Aid

SEF 7077

The American Heart Association HeartSaver First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency services (EMS) arrives. Students also learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. When the course is completed, students receive an AHA First Aid recognition card that is valid for 2 years. There are no fee exemptions and First Aid card fees are included in the cost. Pre-payment and pre-registration are required no later than three business days prior to the class. AHA First Aid Cards are now eCards, you must have an email address to access your card. The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of the materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
