Career Development Services (HRD, or Human Resource Development) offers services to traditional students and the community at-large. We provide employability skills training and career development courses for adults entering or returning to the workforce, or to those redefining their job and career goals. Our goal is to equip individuals with the knowledge, values, and practical skills needed in today’s workplace and to provide employers with work-ready individuals.

The purpose of interviews is to verify a candidate’s abilities and to see if they will compliment and integrate well with other workers or staff. Most employers want a conversation rather than a strict Q&A session.

(The instructor) is very personable and easy to connect with.  She gave me lots of good pointers, and I’m looking forward to trying these and landing a new job.

I appreciate having someone assist in identifying SKILLS which my previous roles have given me as this is difficult for me to separate from role responsibilities.
