The Walter H. & Marilyn Moore Promise Scholarship covers tuition and required fees at RCC for eligible Rockingham County students, beginning with Rockingham County’s Class of 2027.

Qualifications
To be eligible, students must:
- Be a resident of Rockingham County
- Be enrolled in a degree, diploma, certificate, or short-term workforce credential program at RCC
- Attend full-time or part-time
- Graduate of the class of 2027
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA (or be making satisfactory academic progress)
The scholarship is awarded on a last-dollar basis, meaning all federal, state, local, and other scholarship aid is applied first. The Moore Promise Scholarship then covers any remaining eligible tuition and required fees as funds are available.
