Figure Drawing I

This course introduces rendering the human figure with various drawing materials. Emphasis is placed on the use of the visual elements, anatomy, and proportion in the representation of the draped and undraped figure. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate competence in drawing the human figure. Additional supplies at a cost of approximately $150 will be needed to successfully complete required projects for this course. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
