Soft Skills

In addition to the offerings in our workshops and classes, we also offer free, online programming through the Skills to Succeed Academy. Designed for young jobseekers, the program is still used by people of all ages. Independent coursework addresses barriers and mistakes made in the employment process. Interactive lessons and exercises are paired with immersive scenarios.

  • Emotional Intelligence – discover strategies for managing emotions, coping with stress and more.
  • Solving Problems – Learn methods to make problem-solving easier
  • Thinking Critically – Evaluate information and think through decisions
  • Understanding Technology – Explore the basics of technology, history, and future of technological development
  • Technology at Work – Improve digital literacy with introduction to computers, internet, and how they are used in the workplace
  • Exploring Coding – An overview of coding and an introduction to key programming languages
  • Discovering Data – Learn ways to collect and interpret data and how it can be used to guide decision making
