What is Regroup
Regroup is a next generation communications platform used to deliver RCC Eagle Alerts. This system allows the college to broadcast alerts to students, staff, and faculty. Emergency situations, except those caused by severe weather, are rare but problems can arise. Rockingham Community College wants to let students, parents, and staff know when there is an emergency either on or around their campus and what they need to do to be safe.
Those who choose to subscribe to this service can have alerts sent directly to their cellular device and email account. The cellular number you use to register for Eagle Alerts text messaging will not be published in a directory or used for any other purpose. It will only be used for alerts and for periodic testing of the Eagle Alerts system.
Sign-Up
Signing up for Eagle Alert
To sign up as a new member look under “New? Sign Up!” area of the page and type your information in the spaces provided.
Next, enter your email address and create a password for Eagle Alerts. TSS suggests making your password the same as your RCC Email password.
Click Join
Setup Your Contact Information
Once you click Join you will be brought to the page shown below. Here you may add additional email addresses or telephone numbers.
To add an email address type the additional email address in the field provided and click Add
To add additional telephone numbers click on More beside your current phone number and a new field will appear for you to add additional numbers.
Once you add your number check if you would like to have Text and/or Voice messages sent to this number.
Next, check the box to indicate it is ok for Regroup to send messages to you.
Be aware that standard text messaging rates do apply when using the Text option. Next click Save
Unsubscribing From Eagle Alerts
