Associate in General Education – Transfer (A10300TR)

Associate in General Education

The Associate in General Education (AGE) curriculum is designed for individuals wishing to broaden their education, with emphasis on personal interest, growth, and development.

Course work includes study in the areas of humanities and fine arts, social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences and mathematics, and English composition. Opportunities for the achievement of competence in reading, writing, oral communication, fundamental mathematical skills, and the basic use of computers will be provided. Through these skills, students will have a sound base for lifelong learning. Graduates are prepared for advancements within their field of interest and become better qualified for a wide range of employment opportunities.

The AGE-Transfer program is specifically designed for students who wish to earn credits toward a competitive admission health science program at another institution or a program not currently offered at RCC. Courses offered in the program provide a foundation for success and meet general education requirements in these programs. Completion of this program does not guarantee admission to any academic program.
