Lady Eagles Volleyball Update

RCC’s Lady Eagles are a little over halfway through the season with a record of 13-10 overall and 5-4 in conference.

Setter Chloe Lester who was injured early in the season has returned for competition. On October 13, the Lady Eagles will travel to Davidson Community College and on October 15 they head to Vance Granville Community College for a double match. The Lady Eagles will be back at home in Keys Gymnasium on Saturday, October 17 for matches at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. with Brunswick Community College. Sophomores will be recognized during a special ceremony. Admission is free.

“The girls are improving day to day and are starting to click well just in time for the rest of season and to head in to our conference tournament, explained Head Coach Meredith Johnston. “I am fully confident that we will have a record breaking season this year with wins. These girls are working hard every day to improve and get better.”

Caroline Webster- Outside Hitter, Katelyn Woodall- Outside Hitter, Nikki White- Libero,

Hailey Rice- Defensive Specialist. Rhiannon Curtis is assistant coach.
