Thomas Day Presentation

A representative from the Thomas Day State Historic Site, Madison Gibbs, will speak on the history of Thomas Day, a free Black cabinetmaker famous in the mid-19th Century. This presentation will also include information on other free people of color who lived and worked in North Carolina during the mid-19th Century.

This Black History Month  event is free and open to the public.
