RoCo Youth Career Expo set for Sept. 30, Oct. 1

The countdown is on! Rockingham Community College is excited to host the 4th Annual Envision RoCo Youth Career Expo on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, for 7th-grade students and Thursday, October 1, 2026, for 10th-grade students.

Envision is a collaborative workforce development initiative of Rockingham Community College, Rockingham County Schools, and Rockingham County Economic Development that brings education and industry together to help students discover the many career opportunities available right here in Rockingham County.

As highlighted in RCC’s April 2026 Envision announcement, this is much more than a traditional career fair. Local employers and organizations create interactive, hands-on experiences that allow students to explore industries, discover career pathways, learn about in-demand skills and occupations, and interact directly with the professionals doing those jobs every day. More than 1,500 students participated last year, supported by more than 50 local businesses and industries.

Businesses—There’s Still Time to Join Us!

Rockingham County businesses, industries, and organizations are invited to help inspire our future workforce by becoming an Envision 2026 Business Partner. There is no fee to participate. Business partners are encouraged to provide an engaging, hands-on activity that gives students a glimpse into their industry, careers, skills, and workplace.

Business partners should register by September 1, 2026 to Participate in Envision 2026.

Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your industry and help students envision a future right here in Rockingham County!
