Duke Energy TRAILS One-day Classes Begin Soon
Sep 6, 2018Duke Energy TRAILS is offering one-day classes as part of the sustainable trail skills training sequence
These classes provide a great opportunity for individuals and trail volunteers who want to explore their interest in trails and the outdoors with a minimal time commitment and at a low cost. For those who are interested in a specific topic or have concerns about time away from work and travel expenses, the one-day class is a great option.
The following one-day classes will be offered:
Monday, September 24, Sustainable Trail Design and Layout – ENV-7000-01
Tuesday, September 25, Sustainable Trail Construction with Hand Tools – ENV-7006-01
Wednesday, September 26, Sustainable Trail Maintenance – ENV 7007-01
Thursday, September 27, Intermediate Trail Maintenance – ENV 7009-01
The cost for each class is $70 for each person. Certificates and CEUs will be awarded to all participants. Register at www.rockinghamcc.edu under the RCC Continuing Education/Online Registration or search for the key word “trail” or call 336-342-4261 ext. 2011.
Participants must pre-register for each class. If the class minimum is not met before Friday, September 21, those classes will be canceled.
