8-Week Courses Enrolling
Feb 26, 2024An eight-week spring term begins March 11 at Rockingham Community College, offering condensed versions of several courses. Students will earn the same credits and learn the same content as they would in a regular 16-week semester. The term ends May 3.
A short session is a chance for students to get ahead on credits in their RCC program of study, or to stay on track to graduate.
Moreover, many of these credits will transfer to a four-year university. This is a good opportunity for university students to earn quick college credits that are inexpensive that they can put toward their bachelor degree.
Seats are still available in the following courses, which are all online:
Intro to Business ( BUS 110 ), Intro to Criminal Justice ( CJC 111 ), Juvenile Justice ( CJC 113 ), Intro to Interpersonal Communication ( COM 120 ), Intro to Early Childhood Education ( EDU 119 ), Writing/Research in the Disciplines ( ENG 112 ), American History ( HIS 131 ), Music Appreciation ( MUS 110 ), and Intro to Sociology ( SOC 210 ).
Cosmetology Concepts III ( COS 115 ) is also being offered for students who have already taken COS 111 and COS 112. The class meets on campus 8:30-10:20 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
Tuition and fees for the eight-week term are due Thursday, March 7.
