Governor Cooper Visits RCC Campus Today
Mar 23, 2017North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper spent the morning on the campus of Rockingham Community College. He met with students, faculty, staff, and the college administration.
Cooper shared his commitment to making education a priority during his administration. Students described the positive learning experiences they have in the classroom and expressed their pride in choosing to attend RCC. The faculty and the administration shared their thoughts on increasing the awareness of the value of education beyond high school and the importance of funding to keep facilities and technology up-to-date.
Governor Cooper toured the Industrial Technologies Buildings I and II and the Owens Health Sciences Simulated Hospital where he met with faculty and students.
