Fuller Receives SECU Scholarship
Apr 7, 2017RCC nursing student Jennifer Fuller of Reidsville received a State Employee’s Credit Union (SECU) Foundation Continuing Education Scholarship for $750 to be used as needed to pursue her education.
The scholarship is funded by the SECU Foundation. The foundation established the program to help meet the needs of North Carolina’s unemployed and underemployed residents, focusing on assisting unemployed and underemployed adults, military veterans, and members of the National Guard. It provides 10 – $750 scholarships to each of North Carolina’s 58 community colleges to pay for short-term training that leads to state-recognized or industry-supported credentials.
